We are currently seeking Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educators / Room Leaders for various centres across Perth and surrounding suburbs. This is your opportunity to lead learning environments that inspire, support, and nurture the next generation.
THE ROLE
As a Room Leader, you will lead and support a group of educators in delivering high-quality programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). You'll be responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating space where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead room-based programming and planning aligned with EYLF and NQS
Build respectful, secure relationships with children, families, and staff
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment
Oversee routines, manage behaviour guidance, and uphold compliance
Mentor and support junior educators and trainees
Maintain accurate documentation using physical or digital platforms
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring strong leadership skills, a nurturing spirit, and a commitment to best practices in early childhood education.
Essential Requirements:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA-recognised equivalent)
WA Working with Children Check
First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates (current)
Sound understanding of EYLF, NQF, and NQS
Ability to lead a team and collaborate with others
Australian work rights
Desirable Attributes:
Experience as a Room Leader or 2IC
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of learning story documentation or online platforms (e.g., Xplor, Storypark)
Warm, approachable, and child-focused attitude
