We are currently seeking Diploma-qualified Assistants to support Room Leaders and centre teams in delivering high-quality early childhood education. Whether you’re looking for casual shifts or a stable long-term role, we’ll connect you with the right fit.

THE ROLE

As a Diploma Assistant, you’ll support the daily running of the room, working alongside Room Leaders and Educators to implement programs, care routines, and learning experiences that meet the individual needs of each child.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of age-appropriate programs aligned with EYLF and NQS

  • Assisting in the supervision and engagement of children in indoor and outdoor activities

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and inclusive learning environment

  • Assisting with daily care routines such as meals, hygiene, and rest times

  • Supporting documentation and observations when required

  • Building respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Essential Requirements:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA-recognised equivalent)

  • WA Working with Children Check

  • Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates

  • Sound knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

  • Australian work rights

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience in a long day care or early learning environment

  • Familiarity with online documentation platforms (e.g. Storypark, Xplor)

  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine love for working with children
